On June 25th, Dominance MMA Thomastown Coaches @lincbjj and @ivandonlicbjj headed up to Canberra to take part in the @afbjjofficial ACT State Championships, hosted at Australian Institute of Sport.
Ivan moved from lightweight to medium-heavy for this one. Despite the weight difference, he was still able to bring home gold and take the title of ACT State Champ. 🥇
This was Coach Linc’s first comp back after knee surgery and a tough one with only one match in his division. Unfortunately, there were no points scored on either side and Linc lost out by one advantage. It was still awesome to have him back on the competition mats though!
A successful weekend for the Dominance Team, but there’s no rest for these guys! They did it all again the next weekend at the NSW State Championships, and the results were epic. 🔥
