Congratulations to John Will on receiving his Coral Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Rigan Machado last month.
With fewer than 100 Coral Belts in the world, this is an incredibly rare and outstanding achievement. John is a lifelong martial artist, the pioneer of the Australian BJJ scene, and the very first person to bring Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Australia. His promotion is a testament to his passion, dedication, and love for the art.
John awarded both Dave Hart and Murray Ballenden their black belts, making him a direct part of our lineage – and one we are proud to represent on our mats every day.
This is a historic moment for Australian BJJ, and we are honoured to celebrate it. Congratulations John!
