This month marks 20 years since Dominance MMA started – from 18 students in a tiny space in a gym on Swan Street in Richmond, to having one of the most successful martial arts teams in the country with over 1000 members at 3 locations across Melbourne.

A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR – DAVE HART.
“When I started DOMINANCE 20 years ago the goal was very simple. Provide the best training and culture for myself and anyone who wanted to join me. We believed in being disciplined, working hard and helping everyone on the mat to improve – and we still do.
What started with 75m of mat and 18 students has flourished into 3 gyms, and amazing community of dedicated martial artists.
Without exception, training changes your life in a positive direction. I have been fortunate to help people become World Champions, become healthy, overcome depression, or simply find their passion.
Our mats are an amazing mix of teenage phenoms, mums, lifelong martial artists, kids, quiet achieving killers and everything in between. Everyone… everyone brings something to the mat.
I love this team. I love spending my days on the mats with them. There is no better place to be.
In August 2002 it all began. 20 years later it’s time to celebrate.”
