ADCC – 55KGS CHAMPION & ABSOLUTE CHAMPION ADELE FORNARINO!
Epic! This weekend Adele Fornarino put on a masterful display of submission driven jiu jitsu to become the first ever Australian ADCC Champ. And as if that wasn’t enough, the smallest competitor of all the women then went on to demolish the open weight to become a double champ.
This moment is the culmination of more than a decade of dedication to the pursuit of a larger goal. Having been there since the beginning, it seemed almost inevitable she would conquer the highest levels of the sport. A big thanks to Andre Galvao and the Atos Jiu Jitsu team in San Diego, which has become the home away from home for all the DOMINANCE team. They have been a very big part of Adele’s journey in recent years and the hospitality and support they show is always appreciated.
We are incredibly proud of Adele. She is a true inspiration, showing that greatness in our sport is within reach for Australians everywhere.
