No Gi World Championship 2025

IBJJF No Gi Worlds

Last December we had a team travel across to Las Vegas for the No-Gi BJJ World Championship. A big event for the team, with a number of our younger athletes stepping onto the international stage, and a World Title for the Dominance team.

Ellen Thompson won her division, bringing home a World Title. This is an outstanding achievement and a proud moment for the entire Dominance team. Winning a world title is a reflection of years of consistent training, dedication, and the willingness to step onto the biggest stage in the sport.

Kade Ryan also had an outstanding performance and was able to finish with a silver medal in a notoriously stacked division. It is an incredible result and a well-deserved achievement. We have no doubt he’ll be bringing home the gold medal at some point in the future too!

Shout out as well to Angus Tonkin, Angus Puszka, Elliot Byrne, Sam McCarthy, Justin Robertson and Ivan Donlic who also represented the team. No podium finishes this time, but a strong showing with many going deep in their brackets, against high-level international competition.

Iron sharpens iron and the team wouldn’t have had these international results without the entire team and the coaches around them.

We are excited to see Dominance keep making its mark on the World stage in 2026.

Huge congratulations to everyone who stepped on the mats and thank you to those that came to support. What an achievement for a team our size!
